Supervisor, Team Gymnastics
Fairgrounds YMCA
I’ve been involved in gymnastics for most of my life. I started classes at age 2, joined team by 8, and competed through Level 8 until I was 16. I began coaching recreational gymnastics at 16 and moved into competitive team coaching at 17. Now, with 10 years of coaching experience, I’m passionate about helping athletes grow both in and out of the gym.
I believe gymnastics is a unique sport where athletes learn to balance strength with flexibility, endurance with control, and build both mental toughness and resilience. It’s an individual sport, but also a team experience—where athletes are constantly working to beat their own personal best.
I truly love this sport and the kids I work with—that’s what has kept me involved for so many years.
