Ages 5-9 Years: 4:15-5:15 PM      REGISTER

In this fun and hands-on ceramics Clay Creations Handbuilding class, young artists will learn the basics of handbuilding with clay! Using simple techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction, kids will create their own playful sculptures, bowls, animals, and more. They'll explore texture, shape, and creativity while developing fine motor skills and self-expression. All projects will be kiln-fired and glazed, ready to take home and treasure. No experience needed just imagination!

Ages 10-15 Years: 5:30-6:30 PM     REGISTER

In this dynamic Clay Creations Handbuilding ceramics program, students will explore the art of hand-building with clay through more advanced techniques like slab construction, coiling, and sculpting. Participants will design and build both functional and decorative pieces while learning about structure, form, and surface design. They'll also experiment with texture tools, carving, and glazing to bring their creations to life. This is a great opportunity for young artists to develop their creativity, craftsmanship, and confidence in a supportive studio environment. All skill levels welcome.

In this engaging Clay Creations Wheel Throwing ceramics program, students will dive into the fundamentals of wheel throwing while expanding their skills through more advanced techniques. Participants will learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape forms to create both functional and decorative pieces. Emphasis will be placed on form, balance, and surface design as students refine their craftsmanship on the wheel. They will also explore trimming, carving, texture, and glazing techniques to enhance and finish their work. This class offers a supportive studio environment where young artists can build confidence, creativity, and technical skill.

* Previous ceramics class required for enrollment. All materials and kiln firings included.
